Sentiment of Dreams is mixed medium 15" x 30" on gallery wrapped canvas. The painting started with a poem about all of the amazing women in my life, you can still see hints of it in her face. She started off as just a pretty girl but she never felt quite finished. She had such a wistful look about her, I decided to add the tears, and she bloomed from there. The floral headdress is layers of paint built up to give a sense of depth and dimension. She is my sad girl.
